Research Topic: Developing AI methodology for analysing cellular and protein organisation in heart tissue as a diagnostic tool.

About Mihaela: My undergraduate studies were completed at University College London, where I studied Medical Physics on a master's-integrated 4-year course. I cultivated my interest in Artificial Intelligence during the final year research project, which focused on Deep Learning methods for Lung Ultrasound images. The summer research placement I completed at the Institute of Ophthalmology provided me with the experience of working with a real-world dataset and improved my Python coding and data processing skills. I am excited to apply my skills to tackle challenges in applying AI for Medical Diagnosis and Care.
